I planned a night time cruise and must I say it was my top 5 most beautiful experiences I had all year. Its definitely something about the water that's incredibly healing. The boat and captain were both extremely lovely. Captain Jules was fabulous and provided a great ambiance. He was very informative prior to sailing off, due to we were cruising at night that made us feel very safe. It was a party of four and the boat was spacious enough for all of us. Very clean and well kept. Overall, it was a lot of great energy on the boat. 10/10 would totally recommend to book with Captain Jules and his sail boat. You won't regret it!!!

I was visiting Miami and wanted a family friendly excursion on a sailboat. My family had the most amazing experience with Jules as our captain for our 6 hour charter. We wanted the Miami experience that was covid friendly If you wish. Captain Jules exceeded our expectations. I feel like he was very knowledgeable as a captain and took very good care of us. I would highly recommend him. Definitely A++

Captain Jules is experienced and has a beautiful boat. He was knowledgeable about the sea and gave us the history of all the sights we saw. Can't recommend him enough!

We met Captain Jules on a Thursday afternoon for a three-hour long private sunset cruise for 6 work colleagues from across the globe. We head out of the harbour to downtown Miami watching the sunset behind us as we left. Seeing dolphins on our way, the lights and reflections of the city skyline were amazing in the sunset. We brought our own drinks and nibbles, which worked out really well as we enjoyed our sail. Thank you so much Captain Jules, we had an absolute ball, and loved the trip from start to finish. We couldn't recommend it highly enough!

We booked a sunset cruise/3 hour sail for Fri 2/21. The weather was pretty sketchy for that night, and Captain Jules took the initiative to reschedule our sail to the following evening. The cruise itself was excellent, across Biscayne Bay and up along downtown Miami. Just the cliché, it was smooth sailing. Finding the boat was simple, and pre-sail communication was outstanding. We would definitely do this again.

Two couples from Texas traveling to Miami for Valentine’s Day, hired Pelican, a beautiful 38ft sailboat with Capitan Jules at the helm. We experienced a fantastic afternoon/evening. The boat is clean and in excellent condition, Capt. Jules explained the safety rules and we departed. When we reach the bay, turned the engine off, displayed the sails and quietly and romantically we were sailing!! We brought wine and cheese, (bring yetty wine glasses) or you will spill the wine. The weather was perfect, we witnessed a beautiful sunset, we saw the city skyline become alive with lights. We will recommend this trip to anyone, three to four hours is plenty of time to enjoy the boat and the views. We can’t wait to go back!

Captain Jules was incredible! Our family of 6 wanted to get out on a sail boat, be educated on all aspects of sailing, and relax. Capt Jules was incredibly flexible on our needs on the trip. Per our request, he provided play by play on what he was doing along with explanations and theory. He also takes safety very seriously with details of the Safety Requirements of the ship along with a briefing on unsafe behaviors which I appreciated having a curious 3 year old. Great adventure to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city!

Could not be happier with this trip - Jules was a consummate professional and good fun to be around - right balance of being relaxed and responsible! boat was perfect for 6 adults - did a sunset 3 hr sail in the bay. Weather didn’t play its part but despite the heavy chop the boat remained very steady so there no sea-sickness. Highly recommend doing this.

We went on a 3 hours sunset cruise on the Pelican. It was super relaxing and Jules, an extremely friendly host, was full of knowledge of the area. Would recommend his services for anyone looking to get out on the water.

We had a fantastic day sail. Captain Robinson maintains his sailboat in Bristol condition. He is very customer focused, knowledgeable of both sailing and the history of the area and is a very engaging and interesting person. What a wonderful experience!

Jules was a great host. The boat is beautiful and well maintained. This was our second time. Hope to return and bring my three boys.

Captain Jules was prompt, kind, super safety focused & an excellent Captain. Our family had a lovely day sailing Miami Bay!!! We brought our own snacks, had access to the comfortable cabin so the kids and grandma found shade, Perfect day!

We did the 3 hour sunset cruise and it was absolutely beautiful! Capt. Jules made sure we had everything we needed and stretched our time to make sure we had the best views! We are coming back in October and booking another cruise with him!

Captain Jules knows everything about sailing, and you would have a great conversation with him! The boat is also very nice.

Our family of 5 booked an 8-hour sailing with Jules. We went out snorkeling and sailing around in the bay. Had a very relaxing day of Sailing on the 38 ft Pelican. It is kept in meticulous order and Jules is obviously an expert sailor and knows his oat well. We had caught some tuna the day prior and Jules grilled it on the boat and it was perfect. Our 3 college boys enjoyed hanging out with Jules and we all had a great time listening to great music. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back on our next visit to Miami.

A group of 6 of us came to Miami for a bachelorette party and decided to try something different with booking the Pelican. We loved every second of it! Relaxing and fun, perfect way to end the crazy bachelorette week! We can’t thank Captain Jules enough for his patience and hospitality. The boat was very clean and had everything you needed! (Restroom, fridge, etc) He even provided us with ice and soft beverages. 100% would recommend The Pelican & Captain Jules. Thanks for everything !! We hope to visit soon!

Captain Jules was thoroughly professional, friendly, courteous and knowledgeable about sailing and the area. The Pelican is extremely well-built and exceptionally well-kept, very clean inside and out. The boat rides extremely well in all conditions so those with a stomach not made for being on the water should not be concerned. Very enjoyable July afternoon sailing around and just south of Biscayne Bay. Highly recommended~~~

Captain Jules Robinson is a meticulous sailor, extremely knowledgeable of the elements encompassing sailing and the fragility of our marine environment. His demonstrated proficiency of handling a 39 foot vessel alone was impressive! Being a party of five adults, we arrived on time at the pier and the Captain was ready for us, beginning with our free parking permits. Once we boarded and our gear was stored properly, Jules went over all the necessary safety information. With plenty of room on the boat, each of us took a comfortable spot to sit and we took off for our four hour adventure. As residents of Miami for many years we had no interest in visiting tourist sites. We had packed our lunches and were geared up for sailing on the bay. With sails up we spent wonderful hours tacking, feeling the wind, smelling the salt and hearing just the swish of the water as the boat cut through it. We even saw a dolphin! It was a great experience to feel totally separated from the land and the obligations of work and daily life! We felt totally safe and secure with Captain Jules at the helm. I have spent money on many things, but having beautiful impressions to share lasts a lifetime, that is priceless! If you are looking for memorable moments then consider sailing with the “Pelican,” I most sincerely recommend it.

My husband and I love sailing with Captain Jules on the Pelican! Since last year, we have sailed with him three times already. We have designated this experience as our annual wedding anniversary gift to each other (and maybe one or two more in between to treat our family to some fun). Captain Jules is very experienced and we feel extremely safe and relaxed on his boat. I highly recommend sailing with Captain Jules!

This was the second year in a row we chartered the "Pelican" out of Coconut Grove. Captain Jules was awesome once again. After a thorough safety review with me, my two sons and their two friends, we set sail for some amazing snorkeling off the coast of Key Biscayne. We anchored near a sunken wreck from 1898 (?) and the fish were beautiful. We swam out to the 145 lighthouse which is in the middle of the ocean it seemed - and again amazing clarity and the fish were abundant and beautiful. I can't recommend Captn' Jules enough, and the 7 hour sail ended at sunset which was simple breathtaking!

My family and I had a wonderful time sailing with Capt. Jules. He was easy to communicate during the booking process and was just as easy going during our trip. Capt. Jules was also accommodating to our itinerary - there was no set in stone schedule. The ship was very comfortable and in great shape. We highly recommend sailing with Capt. Jules.

Wonderful sailing experience. Chartered the boat for 4 hours. Captain Jules was extremely courteous, great host. We had a great time sailing with him. We all piloted the boat, sailed different points of sail, used GPS to understand our direction we were sailing toward, get back to the marina and identify shallow areas so we could sail around them into the marina. We also worked at trimming the sails (sheets). This was the first time for me sailing a "cutter". Captain Jules shared his sailing experience and know how with us. The boat was well maintained and extremely clean. Sailing experience was lots of fun. We all enjoyed it. We highly recommend to add this activity to your to do list while being in Miami and for us certainly we will repeat this fun actvity when we get back to the Miami area.

This was a wonderful experience. My 15 and 13 year old boys had never been sailing and this was close to the perfect trip for them. Along with two of their buddies the 5 of us set sail on the 37' s/v

This sailing trip was such an amazing experience. Jules was a very fun and knowledgeable captain. Our trip to the lighthouse/shipwreck to snorkel was an experience I will never forget! I could have spent my whole trip on this beautiful boat!

Fantastic trip. Captain Jules made the voyage more enjoyable than we could have expected, and he was very accommodating. The boat was great and the swimming was better. The Captain was not only a great boater who made for a smooth sailing, but also was a very knowledgeable tour guide if you're interested in learning during the trip! Would definitely go again.

The way we could enjoy yesterday's sailing day far exceeded our previous expectations. Jules proved to be a proficient captain and a wonderful host (y habla perfectamente el español!); Biscayne Bay is also an ideal scenario for a great trip. Thank you very much Jules!!

Captain Jules was fantastic with great communication setting up the charter and accomidating us. The sailing was perfect and made some wonderful memories for my girlfriend and myself. The Pelican is a beautiful boat, very clean and well maintained. It was an absolute pleasure to sail aboard her.

We traveled to Miami mid-March 2018 with 6 yo twins. We easily booked a sailing cruise with Captain Jules prior to our trip. Capt. Jules made the safety of our family a priority. The kids enjoyed the safety presentation as the Capt. made it fun and informative. Flotation devices fit the young ones perfectly. Weather was beautiful! We sailed, anchored, swam and fished. The twins hoisted the Jolly Roger to let everyone know that there were Pirates aboard! Argh! We will definitely book another all day cruise on-board the Pelican the next time we travel to Miami.

I had a lovely time on board the Pelican, the sunset sail was amazing and Captain Jules was very informative and friendly, I would definitely recommend this charter to anyone in Miami 👍🏻

Captain Jules made my trip one to remember.He is quite knowledgeable about his beautiful sailboat and all the surrounding areas in Key Biscayne .It was so relaxing I fell asleep several times on my evening trip.He is a skilled sailor to say the least and this made me very comfortable.The sunset was spectacular and so was the conversations we had.I look forward to another outing and recommend this to anyone that loves the ocean and its beauty,

A friend arranged to charter Captain Jules' and his beautiful yacht for New Years Eve for 3 couples. We sailed across Biscayne Bay to a spot near the Rickenbacker Causeway (bridge to Key Biscayne) to watch the fireworks from about four different municipalities. We brought along snacks, drinks and dinner (which we shared with the Captain whose company we thoroughly enjoyed) and grilled our seafood main dish on his propane grill. Jules is a wonderful captain, very experienced sailor and able to single hand his yacht with ease. His yacht is absolutely striking; every part of it shows the care of ownership. Would definitely consider going sailing with Captain Jules again as we had a completely wonderful time on his yacht!
